2.2 kW Plug and Play Spindle / VFD System Setup Guides

Our 2.2 kW Plug and Play Spindle / VFD System is preconfigured to run with any of our CNC Electronics Systems and Kits.

Our current CRP800 Plug and Play Electronics Systems (Plug and Play NEMA 23 CNC Control System and Plug and Play NEMA 34 CNC Control System) are "Spindle Ready" and require no additional components to work with this Spindle / VFD system.

Compatibility options which include additional components for integrating our Spindle / VFD system with our previous CNC electronics systems, or with DIY CNC electronics are also available.

Please refer to the appropriate guide below for your electronics. If you are unsure which electronics package you have, our systems can be identified by the following:

  1. CRP800 - our current Plug and Play NEMA 23 CNC Control System and Plug and Play NEMA 34 CNC Control System [*]
  2. CRP500 - our previous NEMA 23 systems (system with CRP5042 digital drivers that were built prior to February 2015).
  3. CRP300 - our previous NEMA 34 systems (systems with Gecko G201X or G203V drivers, and PMDX-126 breakout boards).
  4. MX4660 - NEMA 23 DIY electronics kits with the Leadshine MX4660 4-Axis Stepper Driver.
If you are having difficulty identifying your system, please Contact Us and we will be happy to help!

* Please note that all new CRP800 systems come "Spindle Ready" with a 14-pin "SP/THC" connector standard as pictured below, however prior to November 2015, CRP800 systems did not include the "SP/THC" connector by default. If you have one of these systems, this connector will be provided at no cost and you can refer to the "CRP800 Retrofit Guide" for installation instructions.
