the DIY CNC machine builder. Lots of people are building
their own CNC routers, plasma cutters, or hot wire foam cutters. Many choose aluminum extrusion as the main structural component for its
strength, flexible assembly options and accuracy. However, they all face the common challenge of finding a
good way to mount motors, linear motion components, and drive systems. Industrial
components that accomplish this can easily cost hundreds, if not thousands
of dollars. While there is a reason for this cost, much of it is unnecessary, and adds little value for the DIYer.
If you are building your own machine, you don't need fancy anodizing or a reseller's markup. You want qualtiy, affordable components that

price. They are designed to connect to the popular 15 series
aluminum extrusion profile from 8020, or any other company extrusion that
comes with 1.5" T-slot spacing. Our unique linear motion system makes use
of the fantastic accuracy of a an inexpensive commodity -- cold rolled steel flat bar.
And we offer components for two drive systems that work with this, including
a multi-start ACME screw drive as well as our new rack and pinion drive for larger
format machines. On top of these great mechanical components, we also offer plug and play
electronic, including our powerful 380 oz-in NEMA 23 motors, premium motor cables, power
supplies and the fantastic Gecko G540.
